In the first month of the year, The Bronx Museum Of Arts unveiled the
statue of Cuba’s National Hero, Jose Marti in a Plaza in Havana, by the
Cuban President Raul Castro. It is a gesture of friendship of the Bronx Museum, since the relation
between US and Cuba deteriorated after President Trump took the Oval
Office.
But, some artists from both the countries are trying to prove
co-operation is possible between them despite the difference in
political front. Its believed to be President Castro’s last public appearance , before
he steps down from his post.
