Team Byatikram welcomes you to the 91st Birth Anniversary of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika” an initiative by Byatikram Mass Awareness and Social Development Oraganization to be held on 8th September 2017 at Karmashree Hiteshwar Saikia Auditorium, Adabari, Guwahati in association of Ministry Of Culltural Affairs, Bangladesh.

With reference to this the president of Byatikram MASDO, Dr. Saumen Bharatiya said that, “Last year a
team of 40 artists from the State has participated in a two days program to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of Assam icon Dr. Bhupen Hazarika in Bangladesh. We were overwhelmed by the love and
adulation the Assam icon inspired in the neighboring country. This year, a team of 17 artistes from
Bangladesh in collaboration with Team Byatikram is all set to pay tribute to the Assam Ratna, legendary
singer Dr. Bhupen Hazarika by celebrating his 91st Birth Anniversary in Guwahati, supported by Surjya
Prashad Memorial Shiksha Niketan Samiti – a skill development centre, Dalmia Cement, Friends of
Bangladesh, Assam Chapter, 92.7 Big FM, etc.”

On 8th September, the programme will start from 5 pm in the evening in association with Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Guwahati and Ministry of Cultural Affairs Bangladesh. The Chief guest of the event are Veteran singer Shiben Bandopadhyay, MLA Shiladitya Dev, Tagore Researcher Dr. Usharanjan Bhattacharya, Head of ‘Bharat Sevashram Sangha’ Shri Sadhanananda Maharaj, Thaneshwar Malakar and many more.

Regional Officer of ICCR, Guwahati Mrs. Pranaame Bhagawati said that, “Earlier also I have attended 2 or 3 events organized by the Byatikarm MASDO. This time also I’m pleased being an integral part of this journey, of the celebration of Assam icon Dr. Bhupen Hazarika’s Birthday.”

About the said event Shri Biwajit Roy, the founder of Socio-Cultural Organisation, Maligaon said that, “It is a very good initiative taken by Byatikram MASDO and such events are mandatory in order to maintain a good essence of culture in the society.”

Being the host of musical soirees, we will be having a team from Bangladesh, Team Anandan with us.
The celebration will be graced by a special performance by Indian Folk Artist, Tina Ghoshal, Anamika
Chakraborty, Anamika Choudhury, Eminent Singer, the winner of Zee TV’s children’s singing competition Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs International and a beautiful dance performance by danseuse Marami Bezbaruah and troupe (Sattriya and Creative Dance).

The BMASDO Secretary Mr. Pintu Kumar Gupta says, “Entry will be free to all. We welcomes your
