AMRAPALI (Society for ARTS), the foremost socio-cultural organization steps into the third year of its mega cultural event especially designed for students, the 3rd CHIMERA 2018.  And this year, the event is packed with lot many competitions curated from classes Nursery to XII in fields like Olympiad, Dance, Singing, Instrumental Music, Drama, Mono Act, Creative Writing, Art, Children Fashion Show, Aspiring Designers, etc. In fact, the International Youth Arts Olympiad is first of its kind in India MCQ based questionnaire specifically designed upon arts, culture and heritage.

The Prize Distribution Ceremony and Cultural Extravaganza for the 3rd Chimera 2018 is on November 2, 2018 at District Library from 6 pm onwards. His Excellency Honourable Governor of Assam will inaugurate the ceremony. The 3rd Chimera 2018 is organized in collaboration with Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Assam, Directorate of State Museum, Govt. of Assam, District Administration (Kamrup), Oil India Limited, South Point School (Barsapara), St. Francis De Sales (Narengi), Amrapali Rendition Magazine, Gauhati Artists’ Guild, Amrapali Institute of Arts and AIA Board (Board of Applied Integrated Arts) and Asomiya Pratidin.

The Online Registrations are happening at The various competitions will start from October 27th to 29th at different venues and participants from different district will join in to showcase their talent. Founder of Amrapali Society and the Event’s Curator Pranaame Bhagawati along with other members and associates of the Amrapali Society viz. Rudro Jayanta Bhagawati (Chief Advisor), Tikendrajit Sarma (Education Consultant), Alaka Bhagawati (Member), Krishnakshi Goswami (Member), and Member Artistes Nabajit Saikia, Samragi Kashyap and Wamiel P. Kashyap warmly addresses at the Press Meet organized at the Guwahati Press Club on October 14, 2018 to all parents, students and institution heads to make active move for this grand occasion.
