Northeast India’s leading socio-cultural organization brings forth the most awaited event for school and college students, the 3rd CHIMERA 2018. And this year, the event is packed with many creative platforms for students from Classes Nursery to Class XII unfurling their innate talents in fields like the first ever Olympiad on arts, culture and heritage, national competitions on Dance, Singing, Drama, Instrumental, Creative Writing, Art, Children Fashion Show, Aspiring Fashion Designers, Handwriting, etc. This event for the first time in India introduces the International Youth Arts Olympiad (IYAO), an Olympiad based on arts, culture and heritage from classes III to XII.

The Founder of AMRAPALI (Society for ARTS) Pranaame Bhagawati who is also the designer of the Chimera event says that, “Children are blessed with abundant talents and they can definitely do their best and prove their abilities when given a chance. Chimera is a one stop junction for different creative abilities for children from Nursery level to class XII, wherein they can showcase their potentialities and understand the purpose of arts in their life.”

Amrapali (Society for ARTS) is proudly collaborating this year with the Department of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Assam, Directorate of State Museums, Govt. of Assam, Directorate of Library Services, Govt. of Assam, South Point School-Barsapara, St. Francis De Sales School-Narengi, Amrapali Rendition Magazine, Board of Applied Integrated Arts (AIA Board). From the last two events, Chimera has gained enough popularity amidst the art practicing children and their participation have motivated them and their counterparts to groom with arts. The Prize Distribution Ceremony and Cultural Extravaganza is scheduled on November 2, 2018 at District Library from 6 pm.
